Compared to the green fee of many of its top-100 peers, Forest Dunes in northern Michigan is a stellar value. Wedged between the difficult par-5 16th and long par-4 18th, its one of the best closing stretches ever.

There are hundreds of link style venues that will help you create a bucket list trip that youll never forget. You can also play the other option, Dyes Valley, which hosts a Korn Ferry event and is also highly recommended.

There have been some remote resorts on this list, but Jasper Park Lodgemaybe the most remote of them all. Another important factor is the length of time your golf trip will take. Tons of places to play.

Round out your golf and gaming vacation with rounds at Sea View, Twisted Dune, Shore Gate Golf Club and player-friendly Vineyard Golf at Renault Winery. Just remember, it is an Indian casino, so be prepared for a little smoke if you do make the visit out to the resort.

If you do want to play Torrey with a tee time in advance, youll want to book and stay directly at The Lodge. These are amazing accommodations right on the course and will ensure you can book a tee time more than a day in advance.

Rates are around $200 per player and still provide a great golfing experience in Pebble Beach. They have five accommodations for all your lodging needs including spacious four-bedroom cottages at the Grove. If you can withstand slightly hotter temperatures, the summer season is the most affordable time to hit the links in Orlando. Not to mention, the green fees are ridiculously high at around $550 per round (when in Vegas right?). No North Carolina, South Carolina, Northern California, Arizona or Las Vegas? But the bigger reason is simply due to the fact that there really are a lotof under-the-radar, fantasticgolf resorts in the area. Once you read this post, youll know exactly which trip you should tackle next. They dont call it the Sunshine state for nothing!
