In fact, I'd go on to say that this is one of my favourite if not the most favourite aquatic designer fragrances I have owned, close enough even to some of the niche ones in similar aromatic class. I've smelt this on people during winter and it smelt perfect. Like previous reviewers have mentioned, this smells like your skin just after you get out of a pool. It reminds me of Mont Blanc Starwalker but Versace Eau Fraiche was launched one year after Mont Blanc Starwalker in 2006. People say it's lacking in longevity, just go heavy on the trigger AT LEAST 16 SPRAYS in indoors 20-25 in the out-doors (TRUST ME ). This is best for summers with the opening note being sparkling star fruitcitrusapple which is quite uplifting, refreshing and energizing. Due to the weaker performance and fairly gentle scent, you could go heavy on sprays and smell fresh and clean without being overpowering. It's a pleasant and well-made fragrance for sure. I bought those gave away as a gifts. Great for summer wear. i have 2016 batch and eau fraiche goes like 7 hours sometimes 8+. Is very citrus opening and then changes. But now I absolutely love it more than ever and will never not have it. I didnt enjoy this fragrance. For those that want to smell nice go for it, but if you're looking for beast mode in all areas you'll be let down. Clean, complex & classy fragrance. Smells fantastic and i really liked it so much. The only flaw is probably the star fruit scent will give a relatively strong smell in an extremely high heat weather and make it a little bit "strange". Blind bought it and no regrets in the world. For the summer nights, wear whichever perfume you want, but this one deserves to be your pick. Light fresh, citrusy. Overall the scent is really nice and fresh, but very weak. On clothes, it'll be there till next day. You could layer them for sure. Nice fresh scent for Summer during the daytime. Its stupid how much this smells like Bvlgari Homme Extreme. Although wearable in the winter, the sweet blue notes are limited to the summer, while the spicy notes hold stronger in the winter. What a fun fragrance. This isn't a beast mode fragrance but you'll smell the beautiful sexy blue masculine silliage when picked up by a cool outdoor breeze. Maybe slightly less soapy than some of the other comparable fragrances. Denimish. it's so simple. This frag for some reason does not want to stay put on my skin! I have to give Eau Fraiche a negative review, despite owning it. I have no idea what experience others had but thank god I tried it. Starts of with a nice citrus offering then dries down into a nice fruity vibe. I love it. If you're in high school this will make you smell cool. But then it turns pretty synthetic. I was trying to figure out just why I love this scent so much, and it hit me as I was going through this thread- this is more of a light blue pour homme than light blue pour homme itself. One of my first colognes ever.. The girls love this no wonder it smells like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue for woman and that perume i think is one of the 10 most sold women perfumes in the world. So fresh yet seductive. Lemon mixed with starfruit is so refreshing and the smell will reignite your senses when the climate is so hot. Not a fan. This is one of the best designer Spring/Summer freshies! I would definitely recommend for hot summer days and warm days in spring and autumn. The remainder is a thin, sharp, and often sour 2-dimensional fragrance that lasts for about an hour and a half before disappearing into a trace of synthetic musk. No hype. My go to summer fragrance. With that amount of sprays, I get about 4-5 hours. Even though its a fraiche scent it can cloud a room out very easily. Surprisingly high quality, detailed and complex! Science Says Maybe. This stuff is really magic in a bottle. This is a must have summer/spring fragrance for a young sexy man.

I have the biggest crush on this cologne. I think I was expecting something in the ballpark of Cool Water and it was not. This fragrance doesnt really need an introduction, basically a staple in every mans collection, super juicy citruses, woody, fresh. I wish they give this fragrance's drydown to Versace pour homme. Bought back in 2006/07 as a teenager. I bought the smell-a-likes before eventually getting this one. Clean, fresh summer scent. Its a nostalgic fragrance for me that Ill always cherish and have in my collection. Happy/uplifting, Neutral-gender, Fresh, Lemon-y, peppery, woody. I now find Versace Eau Fraiche more appealing.

Versace Man Eau Fraiche- This fragrance is a strong, stand-out, summer scent. Not very long lived but at least it does project. Its the perfect summer fragrance and its light and easy to wear. I just can't get bored by this one , all time fav!! This reminds me of my grandmother. Definitely a dumb reach on a hot day for tinkering around at home, doing some errands, going to the beach. Many men think of "Versace Man Eau Fraiche" as summer in a bottle. I have got to start sampling before buying. I'm impressed by its longevity and performance. It's pleasant, but not that unique. really good. But it has longevity issue. Maybe it didnt match well with my skin. Brilliant fresh choice to go with, no doubts, stood out in time. Its unique in that its an aquatic fragrance but not beach/ocean water aquatic but more pool water aquatic. The only drawback is longevity - It lasts a few hours, tops. Its easy to go anosmic to, but trust me its lasting a lot longer than you think. Also, if you want something that gives off a similar vibe, with less spiciness and a nice bamboo note, try Starwalker by Montblanc. My favourite summer fragrance, its light, airy and refreshing. I think Versace Pour Homme is much better choice and has better quality and performance. In my experience this smells the best outside, this doesn't project silage as good indoors, Super fresh and crisp scent. The smell of this one is great , sillage and longevity is moderate. I don't know why many people say it's low qualitythis is not true :). It also has a light and airy quality to it so it isnt heavy or will assault anyones olfactory sense but it will still be very present and detectable. I remembered that I tested on counter and brought the paper test back to my home. I have a pre 2019 bottle of Versace Man Eau Fraiche. Because it's relatively cheap, mass appealing and the longevity is a decent 6 hours, with moderate projection. IT MUST BE FAKE. Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!! It's your typical blue fragrance (blue as in Polo Blue, not bleu as in Bleu de Chanel) from the mid 00s. I dont think so. Great for warmer days in-and-out of office. More like the flesh of a stale lemon. I blind bought 100ml of this based on reviews and the scent profile, I'm a big fan of summery, citrussy fragrances so between that and the high ratings it receives I assumed it would be a safe buy. Ok, that's it , I can throw all my summer fragrances( and they are a lot)! Projects quite well for 90-120 mins. The projection and the longevity are kind of weak. This stuff smells great for spring and summer.

Man, it's very nice, powerful. At that price i couldn't pass it, so I added it to my collection. If you find yourself doing a lot of outdoor activities, man eau fraiche is a no-brainer. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. It brings a a clean feeling and summervibe to those months. Must have in your collection. It is the milk that fills up my carton just right. This accord will hold longer on clothing, and keeps the star fruit smell. Any age could wear this IMO. I get the glue note. Citrus lemon opening before becoming an amazing aromatic woody scent with juicy, succulent star fruit. Doesnt last too long (maybe 3-5 hours for me) but this has one of my favorite (although generic) openings of all time.

This is an easy "dumb reach" in triple digit weather. but it just simply works. That watery starfruit smell is just delightful. Versace man eau fraiche is a great smell, addictive, however its poor longevity along with many other fraiche/citrus based fragrances contribute to its downside. I see the appeal, it's a decent summer scent. This stuff is perfect to wear on an early morning outdoor walk when there's still dew on the grass. When I smelled it on a friend one day, I realized that I didnt like the smell at all and gave it away. I find the smell juvenile and very synthetic and extremely sweet but not in a One Million sort of way, thanks to the citrus and starfruit. One reviewer said it smells exactly like garbage in a plastic bag, and he's right, in that there is a definite garbage-water aroma lurking throughout the first hour or so, especially if you smell it up close. Sniffing at the first time was amazing and fresh, but when dried down they seems to be a bit strong spicy to me which I did not like much. Its fine and inoffensive but mostly smells like shower gel or laundry detergent or deodorant. Those who upvote the lemon and bergamot probably have never smelled or eaten a starfruit. Can use with a suit or a white t shirt it's such a versatile scent , it's meant to be a intimate smell not in everybody's nose unless close great anytime. I have them both and couldnt believe it after the dry down of the citruses of my newly arrived Bvlgari, I thought it would take another direction but no, I just paid 2x for the same cologne, It should be illegal for one big nose to copy another. This fragrance screams positive vibes and will wrap itself around the good memories you make. I'm in love with this fragrance. Its sweet, lemony and fresh and I'm not a fan of this type of fragrance. Comparing it with Starwalker (Montblanc) is absolutely out of the question, which is a leathery aromatic to my nose, nothing like Eau Fraiche. It's really fresh, light but then you get hit by this cheesy feet smell, absolutely disgusting and it keeps on staying..Better get Azzaro Chrome Sport. If you like this then more power to you it is just not for me. Lovely soapy, powdery opening, sadly abysmal longevity. Eau Fraiche is a good summer fragrance. But can wear at any climate and any occasion. Versace Eau Fraiche was created in 2006. Beautiful citrus scent. A dumb reach for sure and a good one. I legit thought I had a bad bottle when I first got it because it has this kind of strange "mothball" vibe to it for lack of a better way to describe it. Versace Man Eau Fraiche by Versace is a Woody Aquatic fragrance for men. I blew through a 3.4 in a hot summer. Longevity is something to be desired as well. is nothing special and not worth your money if u are on a budget. The dry down is intense and lemony on me personally. I grabbed another 100 ml. First time when I smelled this I didnt pay enough attention to appreciate it. Top notes are Lemon, Bergamot, Carambola (Star Fruit), Cardamom and Brazilian Rosewood; middle notes are Cedar, Tarragon, Sage and Pepper; base notes are Musk, Woodsy Notes, Saffron, Amber and sycamore. no definitely not, it's fairly pleasant. I like the woody musky star fruit but at times it comes across as a wet dog smell. I would say its lemony/citrusy goodness. Doesn't smell bad at all just strange. Not salty or oceanic like D&G Light Blue EDP, but more like a sterile chlorinated pool water which I love! Given as a gift as I like the way it smelt years ago. Very fresh aquatic, somewhat woody and slightly spicy. I tested it thoroughly and on skin, it's about 6-8 hours.

This is literally AB Blue Seduction. It's really light, perfect daytime/summertime fragrance. Smells a little thinner and a tiny bit more synthetic than Versace but I'm gonna take that all day long before cheesy feet. When I think of Versaces flamboyant and sometimes gaudy clothing, this is what I think of. I get waifs of it still at the ninth hour. Has a nice cardamom hit throughout and the tangy star fruit makes a nice change from the usual synthetic melon or grapefruit notes used in fresh aquatics. My husband wears this and it's one of my favorites on him. This, while keeping the same likability of other mainstream designers, offers an actual fragrance experience that brings the oftentimes misplaced phrase Niche quality to mind. AB Blue Seduction is a veeeery long shot - it's just cheap, synthetic vibe,not that I don't like it, I have one but I cannot compare it, just different. I understand that everyones different and like different smells, so if you dont like the fabric softener smell then you probably wont like it but I think its definitely worth trying. It is not as fresh and oceanic as other aquatics, but it does have a light lemon+pool water undertone. Smells like a more mature Versace pour home. Lots of people wrote here it's gone after 3-4h, but I still can feel it after about 8h (applied it 3 times, but there weather wasn't hot today, just +18-20 degrees, maybe it helped). This is pure delight. My collection has grown a lot since last summer when I basically wore this every day but even with more options this is still a great dumb reach on a hot day. A Summer staple. This is a simple scent that's super easy to wear, but is just complex enough for it to not be boring and generic. And although it gives you tropical beach vibes, there is no marine saltiness- rather you get slight sweetness and musk. I think this is best used not as a fragrance to wear for a day out, but just to refresh yourself on a hot day, even storing it in the fridge as some suggest.
