What a difference a little paint and poly can make. This coffee table totally speaks farmhouse to me. i have never used polyshades before, always just your typical stain. Then find a lighter seat cover to bring in some of the painted bottom of the table..to the chairs. And, you can come back and wipe away before its totally dry. You just sanded? Ok, we are ready for the fun part, the paint. Using our favorite paint, Behr Chalk Paint in Farmhouse White and Purdy paint brush, we applied 3 coats of paint to get complete coverage. Currently they are just a patterned brown (and I really dont look forward to painting 6 chairs!
