I have this. Patchouli is heavy in both. the edp has patchouli which to some people makes it smell a little dirty. My guess was rasberry or some type of berry but now I see here that it's passion fruit, which makes total sense. Strangely nutty and fuzzy. I know he was with the first Angel. the edt is maybe a bit more fun and playful, where the edp is to be taken more seriously. Flankers of Muglers pillar fragrances regularly manage to twist the original compositions in different ways and still stay true to the "mother" juices. I don't recommend blind buying this one anyway. I also detect that masculine note, which on my skin appears in the dry down.
A force to be reckoned with, in todays perfume universe. I absolutely love the balance between the earthy vetiver and the nutty chocolate vibe. Oh dang, I would have been more interested if they had gone with a soft, sweet nut theme for the EDT like pistachio or shea instead of fruity (snooze). it's not as sweet, and has more of a nutty dryness to the chocolate instead of being fruity. Nobody could accuse Angel designer Thierry Muglers debut scent of that. Decided I can't have it discontinue on me! Top notes (Luminous Explosion): mandarin, passion fruit, lemonHeart (Addictive Explosion): hazelnut cream, cassisBase (Magnetic Explosion): akigalawood, vetiver, chocolate. I totally agree with Tania Sanchez: Angel has a huuuge Adam's apple, indeed I always had the notion that Angel is the perfect drag queen scent. I think I will like both. Both versions have a lot of vetiver. She has joined the team in 2008 to update and maintain encyclopedia information, as well as work on perfume news. I got rid of Angel because of a particularly acrid note in it (burning rubber, to me), and I smell the same note in the opening of Muse EDP. I probably love the edp more, it might be because I had it before the edt, but for cold weather I love the edp, and for warmer I reach for the edt.
